Gren waited with the others as Letho went to scout ahead. When he came back he mentioned a rough looking Roserade, which surprised and actually kinda scared Gren. Roserades were not only the adult form of budew, but empowered by Shiny Stones. Gren knew this because he found a stone and sold it to Masha, who told him about the type of pokemon who benefited from such stones. That meant this Roserade must be powerful. While they would surely be able to defeat it if they all worked together, she won't go down easily. Gren started to curl up, but not because he was scared or trying to hide.
