It is, however. It's a spiral down a path that Surprise started, and while another thread could work, it entirely makes sense that it occurs within the MR thread because it does have something to do with MR.

No, it has literally nothing to do with MR other than who is RPing it and that you have MR chars in it. It would be better in it's own thread.
