That's not true; our base instincts are wrong on nearly every higher-level concept, from thrill rides to business decisions. Conventional concepts don't work; that's why things such as selflessness, kindness, good for the sake of goodness are all factors that separate humans from every other creature.. He'll come back, but if you want it to be fast, he has to sort his life out first.
