[b]Physical Description:[/b] A man of slim but muscular build, Edryd stands at 5'11, and weighs roughly one-hundred-sixty pounds. His arms are slightly longer than normal, and his hands are heavily calloused. Edryd has a clean-cut face and a closely cropped haircut. His eyes are deep set and dark green, and his hair is a chestnut brown. He possesses strong, angular facial features, along with thin eyebrows and a small nose. Most would consider Edryd at least moderately handsome.

[b]Armor:[/b] Edryd wears waist-length chainmail and chausses overtop a thick gambeson. A brigandine covers most of his chest while hard-boiled leather reinforces the shoulders, elbows, groin and inner thigh. He wears iron vambraces and greaves. Edryd has reinforced leather gloves and boots, and occasionally wears a mail coif.

[b]Mental Description/Personality:[/b] Edryd works hard to come across as a graceful man with a noble demeanor. He has cultivated a reputation as an honorable man, though he has demonstrated a streak of ruthlessness in his past in pursuit of certain goals. Edryd is incredibly ambitious, and possesses the utmost confidence in himself, bordering on complete arrogance. He is prideful, but does not shy away from genuine council, nor honest work. Edryd values friendship highly, but tends to hold long and sometimes petty grudges. 

[b]Goals:[/b] Edryd mainly seeks to make a name for himself. He dreams of being a man of consequence, and seeks to gain power and knowledge through his adventures. He has made very early plans of creating a mercenary company in the far future. 

[b]Background/History:[/b][list]
[*] Bastard born to tavern maid and young man-at-arms in the employ of a local Andred lord. Mother died in labor, but father raised him as he felt responsible. 
[*] Father travelled as a sword-for-hire throughout the North, mainly Andred and Vrettonia, reared him in basics of swordplay and etiquette.
[*] When he was sixteen, his father was cut down by bandits while guarding a caravan, dying virtually penniless. There, Edryd vowed to not share the same fate, and to become a man of consequence and power. 
[*] Stayed in a large city in Vrettonia and made a small name for himself as a bodyguard/escort. Eventually decided to seek out greater fame/fortune and travelled to Riverhope by ship.
