As for Elven population, I imagine they're not exactly a minority within the kingdom's borders; plenty are probably nobles, simply due to the political and economic advantages of living about ten times longer than any human could, and the rest likely hold a reasonable amount of land within the borders of the kingdom. Hell, maybe that's another reason for the Glanz rebellion: fear that eventually, the elves will own everything everywhere. Y'know, because elves are obviously bastards who never ever consider any other species as worth mentioning, let alone dealing with in any fair sense of the word. /s
