She was obviously terrified, and Niesha frowned, looking up. Seeing the raccoon, she shook her head, and crouching for a moment she addressed the girl. "Hi sweetheart, can you do me a favor and stay with Sophie? You'll be okay with her" she gave the girl a smile, rising again. Chances are the raccoon was merely savaging for food, getting its head stuck in the can. It was probably terrified. And hopefully not infected with rabies or something. Still, she would have to be careful. She cursed, and shrugged off the coat she wore. Holding it, she began to chase the raccoon down. She figured it wouldn't be able to see, with the can. When close, she would pounce on it, hopefully catching it with her coat. She didn't even think to seek help. She was capable of stopping a rampaging raccoon and besides, a child was scared and she could do something about it. And it wasn't like they had animal control anymore. Once she caught the raccoon, she shifted so she was ready to leap up, in case it went bat shit crazy. Not wanting to risk getting bitten or scratched, she wrapped the jacket around it tightly, and she quickly worked the can off, leaping up and darting back she ran backwards watching it. After a moment, She darted back towards Sophie and the girl, if the girl stayed, grabbing the handles again, she pushed the chair, glancing back, to see if it had gotten out. Most raccoons would, she knew flee, but this wasn't a typical time. It might not be afraid of humans anymore. "slight change of plans. We should probably tell someone there's a raccoon running around" she said hurriedly, pushing Sophie's chair.
