Chen listened to the team assignments and nodded as he was placed on a team with Fei and Jessi. He grabbed his Legend Relic off the table and stowed it away in a hidden pocket. [Color=cyan]"We will return with the Legend Relic."[/color] He stated, as if it were an absolute fact rather than a claim.

Jessi glared at Chen, likely because he was associated with The Librarian, but Chen ignored it. He did hope that Jessi could get over his prejudices quickly though, otherwise working together would be difficult. Fei made eye contact with Chen and began to walk out of the home. Chen took that as his cue to leave.

Chen followed Fei out and stayed silent for a moment. [Color=cyan]"I hope we can put the past behind us, it would be highly disadvantageous if we let former allegiances cloud our judgement after all."[/color] Chen said stiffly as he looked everywhere but at Fei. This was the closest he was going to get to saying 'Sorry for holding you hostage, even if you told me to.'
