To be honest, it's a pet peeve of mine whenever people seem to think that "mature storytelling" equals "dark" (in fact an awful lot of "dark" stories tend to have rather immature storytelling really). Tamers wasn't good because it was dark, Tamers was good because it was well written and they had a clear idea of what they intended from the get-go. Contrast 02, which is a bit more divisive due to them not having a clear idea of what they intended, as well as too many conflicting opinions on how to do things and inconsistent writing quality (be that as it may, I still think Ken's character arc is one of the best in the entire franchise, but there you go). ...I'm not sure where I'm going with this but I guess I'm happy with keeping the tone around Savers level, especially since Marcus is the best. :D Anyways, need to work on stuff I guess. Hmmm.
