As of current, the most figurehead of trainers are dead and the league/champions are busy helping gin upgrade everything. they're a bit too pressed to really have much of a say without hampering something else, on the other hand, the pokemon world is culturally different from the digimon world as their dead come back as pokemon (ghost types) meaning that ressurection into a monster is pretty much the norm for them
