[@Azereiah]: Well... I mean, he'd probably not really be a vampire in this case, really? It's just that in-setting vampires are very specifically "blood-reanimated bloodrinkers with sunlight and holy items issues". Something like that would be something else.

I'm not really saying no, but placing him as just an Eastern version of a vampire doesn't really work in context of the setting even if mythology believes this to be so.
