They're not currently updated in the thread, but... necromancy is totally a thing, at least. Pretty typically does not result in sapient undead, but it does exist.

Ghosts also exist, and can even take a solid state. The mechanics of ghosts are a [i]little[/i] complicated due to how the soul works in-setting but it's not anything to be concerned about at the moment.
