Brick found himself suddenly in the middle of the city on a sunny day. He barely had time to be disoriented as he heard the thudding sound and felt the vibration in the ground beneath his feet. He took a slow measured sweep around his environment when he saw the Grey behemoth tearing down the street with cops in persuit. He started to charge in an intercept course when he saw the animal tear through a wall to cut a corner off his persuit. 

When the building started to crumble, there was no decision in his mind as he closed in and dove to cover the mother and child. If the rhino was flagging, the police could follow him from a safe distance. Yes, taking down the rhino could save more people, but this was a definite over a potential possibility.
