Name: Nanakorobi Yaoki Age: 297 Gender: Male Race: Tsukumogami(Daruma) Appearance: Although he normally appears as a short old man with a hunched back and long, knobby fingers, Yaoki reveals his true form whenever he encounters someone with particularly strong willpower. His huge frame stands at about 6'8", and his muscles are clearly defined through his hand-knit red sweater. The long, silver, wavy hair that normally curtains his head straightens and turns into a glowing mane, his magnificent, curly beard doing the same. Yaoki's skin maintains its tanned appearance and sunspots, but his wrinkled visage becomes taut and firm. Personality: Amicable and resilient in spirit, Yaoki is comparable to a good-natured uncle. He seems to hold a great amount of respect for purposeful youths, especially ones that have found what they want to do. Because of his affinity towards self-improvement, he tends to be brutally honest when it comes to giving feedback. He seems to emit a manly, dependable aura at all times. Abilities: Illusionary Form - Yaoki can disguise himself with an illusion. Eyes of the Daruma - His natural strength and resilience is greatly increased by the willpower of those around him, including his own. When his eyes are closed, his power is suppressed by about 1/3 per eye. His strength is permanently increased if he helps someone achieve their goals. Spirit of the Daruma - He can quickly travel towards a daruma that has one eye filled, and can sense when one has been created. Skills: Yaoki is surprisingly good at a variety of tasks due to the number of people that he's helped, particularly baking and weight management. Knitting was just something that he did normally. Equipment: None. Brief Backstory: About 3 centuries ago, Yaoki was given as an ordinary daruma to a young boy, who filled in one of its eyes. However, it was a long 100 years before Yaoki's second eye was completed, when the child, now an old man, was on his deathbed; the goal he had hoped to achieve was "to live a good life". The same moment that the eye was filled, Yaoki gained a soul as a tsukumogami. Touched by the man's lifelong achievement, Yaoki swore to help anyone who persevered with to achieve their own, transforming from a spirit into his current, corporeal form. Although Yaoki grew disappointed with the recent generations' willpower over the years, finding the Miura Youth Organization relit his spark. He visits the Imaginary District often as a result, but still wanders the world to lend his hand to those strong enough to receive it. He often treats the founder like a granddaughter.
