Age: 14 Gender: Female. Personality: Quite naïve and childish, she has a very simplistic view of the world. Although people around her have grown up and matured, she sees the world as being very black and white with everyone either being a good guy or a bad guy. While she can be frightened by bad situations and people who seem dangerous, and often wants to give up, she's brave enough to push past her fear for other people's sake, at least partly because her simplistic worldview has ended up giving her a little bit of a hero complex. Because of this, she has a tendency to put herself in danger for the sake of others and is ultimately unable to make herself leave people behind. She is very energetic when it comes to her enthusiasm for people and Pokémon, always looking to make friends with everyone she meets. Sometimes this can be a little out of place, especially before battles. She is also very trusting and therefore easily manipulated by other people, since she believes that everybody is a good person deep down. This has a tendency to make her come off as a little stupid, especially with her lack of diplomatic and social skills and tendency to be a little oblivious to what goes on around her. When she gets confronted by or argues with someone her reaction will be fairly childish, leading to her struggling to convince people of things but also being impossible to convince of anything that conflicts with her optimistic worldview. When she is battling she can be surprisingly determined and intelligent, refusing to accept a loss no matter what. This often leads her to find creative ways to take down her opponents that can take them by surprise. However, this can also lead to her Pokèmon getting hurt if she refuses to give up when she should, or is too reckless. Hometown: Pureplain City Background: The product of a sheltered upbringing, it would be fair to say that she didn’t get out much. Her parents were pretty overprotective, and while they were happy for her to walk around and have a life, they never allowed her to leave the city, or go anywhere dangerous. They were afraid of her having to confront the world as it was, and preferred to let her stay inside when they could. Her only real glimpses at anything outside her sheltered upbringing were through television and radio broadcasts, which gave her a fairly romanticised impression of what it meant to be a trainer. As a young kid, she was popular, having a lot of different friends nearby. When she got older and retained her immature attitude and slightly kid-like behaviour, she found it a lot more difficult to keep friends as they started to try and act more mature. Her best friend was a boy named Luke, who shared her enthusiasm and dreams of being a hero just like the ones in all the stories. They always planned to start off their journey together, imagining battles and adventures until the sun set. Abigail wasn't originally supposed to be the one getting the Pokedex - while she tried over and over again, Luke was the one who was given the opportunity. She was disappointed, but still proud of him, and hoped to travel with him anyway and get her own Pokemon on the journey. Shortly before he was supposed to get the Pokedex, though, Luke got pretty sick and just wasn’t strong enough to go out on a journey. Without any better candidates available, Abigail was offered his place. She took it, of course. After all, it was her dream to be a hero! Who would turn down something like that? Kind of Pokémon you like: Electric Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Wants to be a hero, whatever that entails, and gets very excited over movies and comic books. Items: 1x Potion Pokédollars: 500p

Winston
Appearance: The lines on his stomach are slightly tinted, looking dark purple in certain light. Species: Wooper (♂) Typing: Water/Ground Personality: Wooper is the type of Pokemon that will push his trainer off a cliff. Not because he's devious or wants to hurt others, but because he has no idea what is actually going on. This means that he has a tendency to get himself and his trainer in trouble by accident, and not even register that he's doing it. In fact, it's hard to tell if he even recognises danger at all. With a strict and thoughtful trainer, however, he could probably adapt to the outside world. With this particular trainer, how the pair (and everyone around them) manage not to die on a daily basis is possibly one of the worlds great mysteries. Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Always smiling. Always. The main way to tell his mood is from his antennae - they move up and down depending on his emotional state. Fascinated by flying Pokemon, and appears to want to climb trees, but he has no arms. This makes it very difficult to climb trees.
