Izzy cocked her head at Trevor’s nervous laugh, then raised her eyebrows when he voiced blaming himself. She let out a laugh of her own at the ridiculousness of it. “Yes, it’s your fault my brothers drove me to get out of the house," she said sarcastically as she placed her arms behind her and leaned back, paying little attention to the rubble she felt beneath her palms. Between her favored woodsy environment and the past week of bunking in the school, it had all but become normal. She sighed. “I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time is all.
