For some reason Steven's and Peridot's attempts to poof the corrupted gem kind of reminded me of the Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner cartoons. XD
I liked how Peridot tried to make peace by sticking her tongue out. XD 
I have a feeling there's more to Lapis's backstory than just what she told Steven in a previous episode. "Don't put me in charge!" and the fact that she's not fazed by the bubble?
