The guard pales at the lack of reaction from Ptelea. Although he was trained in emergency aid, he was nothing close to a real doctor. If the typical tactics he knew would bring her back to life, he would be lost. No. He wouldn't panic. Not yet, anyway. He gives Ambrose a shaky smile.
