"In that case, maybe next time you could learn from your defeated enemies. Aheh-arh..." Janius curled his body as his abdomen protested his laughter. Upon rolling his head over to look at Kaleeth's exhausted and battered form, he knitted his brow in concern and rolled onto his hands and knees. "Okay. It sounds like you've had enough fun for today," Janius smiled and slowly brought himself to his feet in the least painful way that he could. He spoke as he knelt down to take Kaleeth's hand and carefully hoist her over his shoulder. "Come, let's clean up. Newt'll be out of his classes soon. We should--ooh!" Janius paused in his steps to let his bruises settle slightly and then continued. "We should lie down for a bit, I think we both need it." The bookkeeper called out before the couple got far. "Are you two going to be okay?" He asked. Janius waved him off. "We'll be fine, thank you." With careful footsteps, Janius carried Kaleeth over his shoulder all the way to the bath chamber. They got some odd looks from passers-by, but Kaleeth's fighting club had become widely known enough that there were no questions. Besides, they were both calm enough that it was clearly not an emergency. When they reached the bath chamber, Janius lowered Kaleeth carefully onto the steps leading into the water such that she was seated waist deep. His gentleness returned in contrast to their combat as he scooped up water in his hands and began to clean the blood from her scales. With a light smile, Janius asked something so casually as to make it sound regular. "Do you feel like having another child, Kaleeth?"
Sabine leaned into Peiter's kiss and put an arm around him to prove his reservations wrong, whether they were honest or not. His answer was uncertain, but Sabine didn't really process that much until he pulled away again. At Peiter's show of joking defiance, Sabine tilted her head, widened her eyes, and smiled in surprise. "Seduce you?" she asked. Deep down, there was a twinge of indignity that she had to put in the effort, but she still giggled in good humour. Still, she leaned back and held onto her crossed legs, looking to the ceiling with a grin at how she would go about it. When Sabine brought her head forward again, her look was narrow-eyed and surprisingly sultry. In fact, she had an expression that evoked images of La'khay in some ways. There were some more cerebral techniques that Sabine had been taught that she did not have occasion to try until now. She had just enough ale in her veins to give herself the confidence to try. "Seduce...you..." she cooed, leaning forward onto her hands and knees and stalking like a cat around in front of Peiter. "Do I..." Sabine took in a sharp breath through her mouth and breathed out, "...have to?" She continued stalking towards Peiter until her hands were on his legs. "I think...you want me anyway..." She opened her mouth and leaned in to whisper. "I know I want you." Sabine sat back and stared intensely at Peiter for a moment, before the corner of her mouth twitched upwards. At that, she lost her composure, bowing forward and bursting out laughing. Her hair fell forward to hide her beetroot red face from Peiter at her completely out of character behaviour. She remained laughing for a solid ten seconds before she looked up and outright threw herself onto Peiter, pushing him onto his back, wrapping her arms around him and kissing him more deeply than she had in months.
