Normally, he would have accompanied Luke on an excursion off-ship but the Koomba trading post is usually stuffed to the brim with humans and aliens alike. Far too many of them, because it's not just the natives that come to Koomba for supplies, every traveller, smuggler and bounty hunter on this side of the Rim made a stop here as they passed through. He wasn't in the mood to take a risk and face any of them, so he chose to remain on the ship. Matthew and Kayala had left as well, nothing bad could happen to Luke if they were with him, that's what Stehrr kept telling himself. It provided him some comfort, but the longer the captain was gone, the more he began to wish he had accompanied his friend after all. It would be a scorn to his life debt if something was to happen to Luke when he wasn't around to help the man. The Wookiee is just about to gather up his bowcaster and go stomping down the vessel's loading ramp to start a search party when a familiar voice hollered out. "Captain's back!" Stehrr looked up and eagerly grunted a greeting as Luke re-enters the Raven. Tucked under his arm is another large hunk of shiny metal that the Wookiee deduced must be a ship part. He remembered Gol mentioning on the way in to Dantooine that a part of their hyperdrive could do with replacing before it blew them all into space dust in the very near future. He hovered at Luke's shoulder as the captain drops the part off in the garage with Gol, before following him back up to the bridge. The Wookiee plopped himself down into the pilot's seat, crossing his arms behind his head as they wait for Sutton to make her way over to plot the flight path, something he hadn't quite gotten the hang of himself yet. Stehrr's gaze wondered absentmindedly around the cockpit as they waited, and it was then that his eyes fell on the ribbon-adorned 'present' Kayala had left him on the control cluster. The Wookiee's arms flailed manically through the air (almost socking Sutton in the face as thr second in command appeared and leaned over to punch the coordinates into the computer) as he bellowed out, in clear distress: "《NO! No brush!! Stehrr fur just fine, no need brush! Luke, tell human female no brush! No need!》" his pleas are finished off with a desperate look at his companion in the seat beside him, as if imploring him to remove the offending implement from sight. He had stocked up on medical supplies in the last spaceport so he had no need to accompany them. Instead, Nali spent his time sorting through equipment, making sure that everything was in its proper place and had been cleaned and sterilised to an appropriate level. That was one of the many things he had learned from Morgbra before the older man had gone missing in action. 'There's no point doing a half assed job'. While he had the time to kill, he may as well make the most of it. The rest of the ship was oddly silent. The only sounds he could hear were Stehrr shuffling to and fro as the Wookiee paced restlessly in the main hold, waiting for the others to return, and Gol and HK moving about in the garage. But that was okay, the quieter the better. He could concentrate then. It wasn't long before Luke returned with Matthew and Kayala in tow. Peering around the doorway to the medbay, the doctor raised an eyebrow at Matthew's questionable choice of pun. "Really, Luke Teth-walker? Is that the best you could come up with?" he snorted, trying not to roll his eyes. At one time, the joke had been entertaining and everyone on the ship had gotten a kick out of the mercenary mocking the shared first name of their captain and the Rebel's Jedi hero. But it was getting old now as far as Nali was concerned, Matthew needed to get some new material. Any smart mouthed retort that Matthew might have prepared in retaliation was drowned out by the ear splitting roars coming from Stehrr in the cockpit. Grimacing, he clamped his hands to his ears in an attempt to protect them from the noise. "Bloody hell, Captain, can you get him to calm down?! Anyone would think we were taking enemy fire!" the doc hollered as loudly as he could and prayed that he would still be heard over Stehrr's screeching.
