Here's angel bro. He's a corpse with a vendetta. That's it. That's his story in a nutshell. I kill those that deserve far worse than death."
Name: Torag Draken Titles: The Harbinger of Light Age: 548 Gender: Male Allegiance: Angels of Heaven Race: Corporeal Wraith Height: 7’5” Weight: 210lbs. Personality: Fueled by vengeance, Torag Draken seeks nothing more than the head of the demon that murdered his friends and himself. He is a stalwart protector and places the lives of his allies before his own, and will readily volunteer to lead the armies of Heaven into battle. All in all, he’s a single-minded force of nature, hell bent on destroying the entirety of Hell in the search for his killer. He is, however, hesitant to injure humans, believing that many can be redeemed from their hellish ways. History: The story of Torag Draken is one that starts not at birth, but at death. A holy and peaceful man for most of his life, Torag Draken had everything ripped from him one night as a group of bandits moved through his village. Every house was raided, and every resident was murdered in cold blood, himself included. As life slipped away from him, his throat cut and bleeding, the priest looked up to see the horns of a demon gloating over his bed, asking the age old question of ”Where is your God now?” For the first time, he had no answer. With that, he keeled over. Instead of waking at the golden gates of Heaven like he expected, the holy man awoke in an empty void. All there was to guide him was a marble path spanning the darkness, seeming to emit light. He followed his only option, his life playing back in frames as he passed. Every just action he made, every confession he heard, every baptism he oversaw, played back to him as he walked. After what felt like days of walking, he came to the end of the marble path, which showed his body, bled dry over a pentagram back at the bandit’s camp. For the first time in his adult life, or unlife for that matter, he felt true, genuine anger. That’s when one of the many Valkyries of Heaven came to him with an offer that was impossible to refuse. His body bled dry, skin taught against what was left of his muscles, and stripped of any defining features, reanimated on the pentagram it was placed on. When the corpse drew breath once again, only the demonic chief of the cutthroats reacted… by leaving as soon as possible. Torag, writhing in the pain of undeath, took the nearest weapon and proceeded to cut down all those that had killed in the name of that demon. Pleased with the act, the Valkyrie returned and gifted to him a blessed scythe and the broken claymore of the village smith, followed by a set of terrifying armor to hide is zombie-like appearance, then told him of his role in his new life. He was to fight with the armies of Heaven as a slow yet unstoppable force. He agreed, cursed anyway to walk the Nexus as an undead being for the rest of time. A new purpose in his existence, Torag Draken set out with a fire rarely seen in the Angelic armies, intent on putting an end to this age old war. By the end of it, his blades will run red with demon blood, and he will finally be able to rest. Powers: Unstoppable Force – Torag cannot be halted by snares, traps, or magical means. Strongarm – Torag can easily wield two-handed weapons in one hand. Sure Grip – Torag cannot be disarmed in combat. Bloodless – Vampires and health-sapping magic are ineffective against Torag. Weapons: Bloodletter – A scythe that sets aflame sinners and demons alike. Hot to the touch. Geralt’s Claymore – A simple claymore of silver, broken the night Torag and his village were killed. It now avenges the one who forged it. Equipment: Paladin’s Armor – An extremely heavy, blessed set of armor that seems to repair itself slowly if broken or dented.
