[@GreenGoat] Oh yeah, Batman really effs people up sometimes. In fact, his more brutal incarnations are a bit more realistic in my opinion. Human beings are tough. The force that Batman would have to use to take down his opponents would still result in pretty grievous injury in most cases. And being knocked out is not a trivial matter like tv would have you think. 

[@RumikoOhara] I'm not saying it isn't a valid philosophical stance, it is. It makes a lot of sense for your character to think that way. 

It's just some characters will think differently. Jack only takes people alive exactly because of publicity. Otherwise he'd be slicing fools left and right. It's a compulsion for him really. He's kinda like if Dexter had superpowers and took a codename.
