He was trying to make something new this time. He wasn't sure what kind of song he was going with, he was simply experimenting. Other noises began mingling in with the peace and quiet that had once filled the air. Not all of them were exactly pleasant, but all of them did manage to mess with his head. No matter what he played, nothing seemed right. Sighing, the musically inclined male lowered in instrument. He tried to focus his attention on only the sounds he was making. A couple chords later, and he was making progress again. "Mornin, Slick," A voice called out. Alex looked up to see Quinn greeting him. She looked pretty ragged, but he didn't want to question it. She might be uncomfortable giving him an answer. “Morning, Quinn,” He smiled, and returned her half wave, half salute. She usually had quite a different sleeping schedule than he did, so he didn't see her around much. However, it was nice to see her when he did. The smoking girl went on her way, hopefully to get some sleep, and Alex went back to what he was doing. A melody was starting to come along. It was graceful and smooth. Seems as though he was just in that kind of mood since all his song seemed to be like that this morning. It wasn't until Max came by, that Alex put his guitar back down. “Don’t worry, you’ll always be my princess, Max.” The silver haired boy grinned jokingly. He then proceeded to pack his guitar back into it's case. “Abby was up early to tend to the gardens, and woke me up. So I decided to practice a bit outside. You know how thin the walls are here, I didn't want to wake anyone up.” Alex stood up with his guitar. “I'm gonna go put this away, you wanna come with? Afterwords we can go out, I don't have work until 5.”
