I agree with [@Azereiah] a bit here. Oh dear god why.

But otherwise onto the point, I don't mind the first arc ideas at all though. Pretty simple but good for first endeavours. I favor the second or fourth.
[@Rin] Splitting definitely something to consider when taking into account the group size.
