I guess this one guy thought my outfit was an invitation, and that as a guy, I wouldn't bitch at him for getting touched without consent.  He might have been very drunk too, but that's his fault for not having a sober friend to stop him from making stupid decisions.  

Please, don't let my experience ruin it for you.  This happens more often to me than it should, and I know how to defend myself if need be.  With the exception of idiots, I find cons to be generally safe and free of anxiety and paranoia.  I suggest going with friends to make the experience even more enjoyable.  Just remember to be polite and ask first before you take pics or give hugs.

I mean, it's you're decision.  I think you're missing out, because these things are a lot of fun.  Well, really depends on what you find to be fun.  My kind of fun includes a hotel room, lots of alcohol, music, Street Fighter V and Guilty Gear, alcohol, hot cosplays, drunk selfies, alcohol, out of state friends, guys falling for me, alcohol, and alcohol. 

And I guess as long as this is the non-RP bitchfest thread---OMG, JUST FORK OVER $80 and get some decent fragrance to hide that body odor!
