Nikki responded to his kisses with a hunger that she wasn't aware that she had. She kissed him and allowed nothing else into her mind. When he kicked the jacket inside and the door shut Nikki hugged him and when he sat down with her she leaned back on her bed and pulled him next to her. [color=f49ac2]"Have you ever been at a point in your life where you are so lost as to where you are going that you just want to ....I don't know, sleep or cry or run away? I keep hoping that I'll wake up and it will all have been a nightmare."[/color] She pulled his arm around her and laid her head on his chest.[color=f49ac2] "Like you. I barely know you and yet I feel better about you than I have anyone in a long time. I don't know what that means but it's good right?"[/color]

[color=f49ac2]"You asked if James was my ex, no he just was a guy that I interacted with a lot who apparently thought he was going to make me be his girlfriend after Vincent left." [/color]Nikki ran her hand through her hair. [color=f49ac2]"Vincent is a piece of work. We didn't like each other at first and we argued, a lot. As the days passed we started getting along until I found out he was a mobster before Hell Day." [/color]She was looking frustrated.[color=f49ac2] "We were doing ok then Matt went a little nuts and kicked him out. I brought his sister and friend back in and he came back to see me. We agreed to try and make our brand new relationship work but the fact is just because the dead started walking does not mean that wasn't still a mobster underneath. I realized I was right when we argued about his sister. He and I broke up and he was kicked out of here. 

Before that was Eric. He and i were together three days before he got his head blown off during our first real fight with another compound. Before him I was with Nolan. We were engaged and together for 5 years. He was bitten that first day. After all hell broke loose I found my best friend in her lingerie in our apartment, apparently she was the other woman. My love life is deadly to the other people involved.[/color] She looked at him and said. [color=f49ac2]"If you want to turn and run the other way I understand."[/color] Nikki said softly, [color=f49ac2]"....but I hope you will stay."[/color] She raised up on one arm and looked him in the eyes. [color=f49ac2]"If you do run away just know I really appreciate the laughter that you have brought in the short time since you've been here.[/color] Nikki reached down and kissed him. She raised up in a hurry. [color=f49ac2]"Oh crap! I forgot my beer! Come on!"[/color] Nikki slipped on her tennis shoes and tugged him out the door of her room to the kitchen and out into the Monster. She lifted herself over the side and said, [color=f49ac2]"Come on up!" [/color]She opened another beer for him and handed it to him after he climbed over. She wrapped up in the blanket she had left there and when he sat down she smiled and stared at the moonlight.
