Instead she made her way towards the back of the building. It took a bit of effort, but she found herself standing at the back entrance. She prayed it wouldn't be jammed as well, or that there were other things, living or dead, inside. She just wanted to sit. She dreamed that inside it would be a fully furnished building, comfortable seats abound. Something had to go right eventually. The door opened without much struggle and she gave a silent prayer of thanks, even though she was sure God has fully given up on the world. She made her way inside where the smell of death hit her hard. She was used to the smell, but still it was never pleasant. She pursued the smell to the front of the store where she saw the decomposing corpse of a man. She felt a small portion of pity on him, but it was quickly overtaken when she saw the pack next to him and the glorious amounts of water present. She would cry if she wasn't afraid of losing more water. The pack held some hiking water packs. It was more than enough to get her through another long journey, but she knew she wouldn't be able to carry them all. Acting quickly, she began to clean the hiking packs out. It took effort, but she tried to clean them all out to the best of her ability. Once done, she filled 3 of them and put two in her pack and carried one outside. She made her way back and found a quiet place to sit, as far from the smell as she could. She thought about her journey thus far and how she got here. She was safe, for the moment, a luxury in it's own right.
