Cal was very much unconscious. His suit had been damaged and his face held bruising. One eye was blackened and a trail of blood was visible from his mouth. His body was healing, but he had a lot of damage to heal. He did not look fantastic, but thanks to being found and speed healing he would live.

Alec was soon replaced by the black jackal. The canine inhaled some scents as it sat in a dog park. Large ears rotating to pick up every sound with a face of bliss...until a mortal took a photograph. One that soon ended up in the news after quickly circulating social media. The jackal did not know...he had not been on the surface for some time. He lightly trotted to a plant plagued with weeds. He gently touched his nose to the weeds and they withered and died.
The news treated it as a comedy report. 
General report: "Check out this canine. A cool hound with gold is it from another planet? All we know is that there is only one photograph of it and I have to say this is a happy sight to see compared to super human fighting"
