Erika is considerably quiet and individualistic, though she'll find 1x1 conversations and bonding to go a lot easier as she is likely to be overshadowed in a crowd. Erika's general demeanor is gentle and friendly and while those in themselves are positive traits, she is not very competitive or ambitious, much to her mother's discontent. She is fairly organized and is a very educated thinker but if under harsher pressure, she can panic.

[b]Hometown[/b]: Cooldome City 

[b]Background[/b]: 
Despite her allegiance to her hometown, Erika was actually born and spent the first few years of her life in Rainrock City, but this was only a temporary arrangement. Erika is the youngest of three and after she grew up a little, the Olsen family moved to Cooldome due to Erika's mother's fierce desire to compete in the Pokemon League. Erika's mother had tried twice to become Champion, once in her youth for the Minor League, and then once again after Erika's seventh birthday for the Major League. Her first time, she was defeated in her first round; second time, she made it to the semi-finals before being defeated once again. In her defense, she is often remarked as an excellent trainer, but her opponents were just better it seemed. Now she helps visiting trainers prepare for their climb up Mt. Chill while also offering to tutor trainers during their visit.

Erika's mother has always lived for Pokemon Battles and now pushes her only daughter to head out there and try. Some of the family believe she is just trying to live out her Champion fantasies through Erika, but Erika never seemed to mind. In fact, Erika and her mother really bonded over their lessons, but it would only be a few short years before Erika was deemed ready and sent off to Pureplain City in order to get her first Pokemon.
