Once stuck in a dynastic cycle for thousands of years, the republic rose from its ashes, fighting warlords and other pretenders to the claim of Huxia for a generation. One by one they toppled cliques and warlords to face off against its greatest foe, the Huxian People's Communist Party (HPCP). As Huxia was torn apart by war, a new evil united these two factions as they clashed against the invaders of the second world war. Now, with their foes beat and the HPCP defeated, the newborn Republic of Huxia not only has the long road ahead of rebuilding but also modernizing with the rest of the world to ensure its stability, security and relevance in this new era of intrigue and technology. They have committed themselves to the war against communists seeing themselves as "counter revolutionaries" who bring another type of revolution to the red nations, using tactics that their own communist rebels used against them on the enemy. [sub]{The RoH is a secondary power acting as a notChina, the difference being that it was the nationalists (Huxian National Republican Party) won over the communists (HPCP).}[/sub]

ADMINISTRATION

[sub]
Government:
[/sub]
The RoH has a very iconic sort of three branch republic not unlike the real life USA with a senate of elected officials from various provinces and ethnic groups. However, given the age of the republic, many departments still aren't fully staffed nor separated. Things such as the Ministry of Logistical Supply handle everything from agriculture to factory standards to infrastructure. The Ministry of the Interior focuses on both natural land conservation and internal security and is even home to the Ministry of Justice that is set to become its own full blown branch soon.. As time goes on, it is the hope that these ministries will separate and become their own specialized organizations. The current head of state is Prime Minister Zhong Yuanxiao who has suspended PM elections but not senatorial elections as he attempts to sort everything out. They lay claim to being the largest fighting force on the planet with well over 2 million troops. However, given the circumstances of Huxian, many see them more as organized mobs of gunners rather than actual trained professional soldiers due in large part to the logistical supply situtation of the Republican Guard. The official standard weapon of Huxia's army is the Hanyang 98 Rifle (also known as the Yuanxian Rifle after the leader of the Republic), a short but sturdy and easy to produce bolt action rifle. However, it is hopelessly outdate by modern semi-automatic rifles and with whispers of fully automatic rifles on the horizon, the age of the Hanyang 98 only becomes more apparent. However, despite the Hanyang 98's status as "official standard", there still remains not only a wide gap in quality, but also variation and weapons in general. Huxia's current industrial might is meager at best with only a few actual factories. As such, more local workshops and gunsmiths are use to produce weapons. Such places not only produce the limited amount of domestically designed weaponry but have also become proficient in copying the weapons of other nations. With scrap metal and broken weapon parts, these workshops have been able to produce an impressive array of weapons and equipment for the HRG; however the nature of cottage industry allows for great distances in quality, any given Huxian rifle can either be a master-crafted piece of engineering or as much of a hazard to the user as it is the enemy if not more. As a whole, the number of Hanyang Rifles being produced does not meet up with the massive size of the HRG thus leading to soldiers and commanders using whatever weapons they can buy or find to meet up with demand. Rifles and SMGs from former Showan bases seized after the end of WW2 and Atronian weapons granted to Huxia are also fairly common. Many Uchuan weapons have also been found amongst the ranks of Huxian soldiers after the defeat of the communists in the civil war as well as limited supplies from Uchu itself during the war. Nowadays, Huxia relies on gun runners and smugglers for additional weapons from the communist nation as their different ideologies does not make Uchu willing to sell arms to Huxia.
