A loud groan came from the other side of the room. A male, sprawled out on the floor, began to start twitching. He turned to where his back was against the floor, then spat out blood all over himself. The groan almost turned feral, as the man began moving his limbs. His neck started to roll repeatedly against the floor as he struggled to get up, as if he had never moved before. The man sat up, revealing dry pale skin and milky white eyes. He appeared to be decayed, though he looked directly at the girl who had just awoke. His groans turned into snarls, as he fell against the floor on his chest this time. He clawed and scraped his way forward, the only desire in him to feast on flesh. The door next to the girl opened, where a man stood in the shadows of the hallway. He was wearing some kind of suit, it appeared to be a spacesuit, though was with similar designs to it as the very room they were in. It was some kind of metallic armor, covering the man from shoulder to toe. Over his head was a clear glass helmet, not circular but more oval. The man's face could be seen within, though his attention shot past the girl and toward the threat crawling toward her. He raised his right arm at the undead being, as a laser sprout out from the wrist of the armor. He fired a solid gold beam directly at the being's head, causing it to explode. Blood and brain matter pieces flew around everywhere, further mucking up the already dirty girl. "We have to go, they'll be back," the man said. Knowing the just awakened survivor couldn't do much quick moving on her own, he moved in and grabbed her. He lifted her up to a standing position, wrapping an arm around her and helping her to move toward the door he had come from. Without any explanations, he guided her out of the death stained room and into a dark hallway. Lights flickered on and off as they moved, sometimes leaving them in total darkness for a few moments. They went through another set of metal doors, but the armored man stopped once he heard something. Deep in the walls, he could hear a shrieking scream, something that seemed to be not so far off. "Shit, they're coming!" he muttered. Changing direction, he led the girl into another hallway. "I know you're scared, I was to. Just trust me when I say, we have to move." The screaming seemed to echo throughout the halls. Sometimes they appeared closer, other times more further away. Eventually he led the girl into a smaller room, one in complete darkness. He grabbed her and faced her, seeing her facial features for the first time. With a click of a button, the clear helmet opened up and was directed back into the suit at the shoulders. He stared into the blue of her eyes, putting his finger at his nose to tell her to stay silent. Footsteps could be heard just outside the door they had entered, more than one pair, and moving quickly the way they had come. They seemed to stop just outside, and whatever was on the other side of the doors, it gave out a bone chilling cry into the air. Then the steps continued, on and away until they could no longer be heard. The man exhaled and rested his eyes for the moment. "Come on." The next pair of metal doors had a screen on the wall beside it. The screen became three dimensional and seemed to calibrate together with the man's suit chest piece. An alien symbol on the breast plate matched with the screen, opening the doors and locking them behind them. The suit turned back off from color as the entire room they were in lit up on its own lighting supply. "This is home." The room was some kind of tech armory. Alien weapons, as well as various man made ones, were showcased upon shelves that reached to the ceiling. There were similar armors to the one the man was wearing in one section as well. The room was rather large, and was detailed like a library full of books would be. A few screens were at some corners, showing different places within the ship they were currently in. He set the girl on the table next to the screens. One of the monitors showed the room that the girl had just awoken from. Another person had risen, though with a closer look, they appeared to be dead as well. Yet the dead man moved, crawling over to another lifeless body in the room and digging its teeth into their flesh. The man turned the monitor off as to not sicken the poor girl any more than necessary. "You're lucky," he said. "I thought you were all dead." The man started to take off some of the heavier pieces of the armor, putting them back on a shelve. Once he was down to just the exo suit, a skin tight underwear that was just as technical as the armor, colored in dark blue and purple, he went over to another corner of the room. There, he grabbed a canister that glowed a bright pale blue, it was just one of many. He handed it over to the girl, opening up the top for her. "Drink it, it's what's kept us alive all this time anyway," he said, chugging one down himself. The liquid had no taste, but at the same time still somehow felt refreshing. "My name is Dallen. I know you probably can't remember yours right now, it took me awhile myself. I still can't remember my last name. I woke up, just like you did just now." He sat down against one of the shelves of alien weapons, appearing exhausted. He rested his head back against the shelf and looked back to the young woman. "I'm sure you have questions, so do I. I only woke up a day ago, so I don't know that much. I know there's something out there, and I know it will try to kill us if it finds us. Not what you saw." He coughed and cleared his throat. "Not that infected person. Something...worse." He realized he was giving her a little to much to soon. She was probably in shock, though he also knew that their lives were in great danger. It was important for her to understand the way things were right now if she was going to make it out of this mess alive. "On a brighter note, home is the armory," he said with a slight smirk. "I recommend getting whatever rest you need, then suiting up. We can't stay here forever. Any questions?"
