He couldn't help but chuckle at the message, it seemed that despite reporting on the literal apocalypse, and among other things, ghosts, demons and all sorts of myths, she still had some capability to remain positive, or at least have a good mood. The last part of her message made him pause for a moment, and he did remember. When he'd insisted that the reporters return the stolen generators, she'd praised him for his actions. The odd part was that it wasn't just someone who looked like her, not even someone who might have just been pretending, this person had looked exactly like Amelia, he figured even an identical twin couldn't look so close to the real deal. It just didn't make sense to him, but then again, nothing today did, from demons to angels, to being a Prophet of god, there was plenty which he had to question, and plenty of reason for him to believe pretty much anything at that point. If there was one thing he'd figured it was that he'd need to know some more. He started by searching the internet, trying to find anything he could on supernatural creatures, particularly any that could have been taking Amelia's place in town, shapeshifters or anything of the sort, but he didn't know how accurate any of the lore would be, after all, there was so much of it everywhere. He didn't want to wander out in case something was going on and he was unarmed, but figured he had to do something. It was then he remembered what he was now, he didn't exactly know what he could or couldn't do, but he hoped that it would work. Sighing, he placed his hands together and looked up. "Uh, god? Hi, it's uh, Liam." Liam hadn't been a religious man, but even he couldn't deny now with his knowledge that God might have been real, or rather, was. "I could use a hand, if you uh... Have the time?"

Darren Andrews

Location: Forgotten Relics Interacting With: Jade Cornish, [@Morose] Zachary Carpenter [@BlueSky44]
"I'll take you up on that, gorgeous." Darren commented, winking toward Jade as she countered his own comment, adjusting his shotgun over his shoulder as he scoffed at her question about the permit. Locking the car again as they moved off, he shrugged his shoulders and looked back over at her. "Y'gonna put me in a nice pair of cuffs if I don't?" He glanced back over to her. He had to admit, if there was one thing the Apocalypse did, it was make it easier to get by the authorities, Jade had started to accept it, and the Sheriff didn't seem too skeptical about everything going on. At the query of the book, he shrugged, sighing. "It's for a spell, I don't know if or how we can stop the Rise of the Witnesses before it happens, so we're going to need to stop it after they've risen." He explained as he moved toward the book store, glancing back over to them. "I'll be targeted by them, and chances are both of you will too so, our lives sort of depend on this spell." He shrugged, as if to say 'no biggie' - but he was certainly displeased with the idea of what witnesses could come along. There were plenty of people he'd failed to protect before, not least of all, family. As they got close enough, Darren raised an eyebrow as he saw the girl breaking into the store, bringing his shotgun off his shoulder and taking hold of it in both hands, narrowing his eyes as they got closer. "Please let this be a crazy person, and not another damn demon..." He said as he moved toward the building with her, peering inside sa he glanced over to the others, making sure they were with him as he moved in the front door, remaining quiet for now as he looked around, shotgun held reasonably ready for anything.
