Whereas Maractus turned to the pokeman with hostility and wariness, Deneb simply turned to him while wearing his normal, indifferent facial expression. He seemed to barge in with a worried voice. Maractus used this as evidence that the human woman was a trainer of trainers, as she decided to view the newcomer's own hostile glare toward the horned human something similar to an overly loyal pokemon that wishes to protect its trainer from potential threats. 

Deneb, wanting to explain their presence, spoke up.

"[color=39b54a]Maractus thinks you're both suspicious, so we followed you two here. We saw her crying when we entered the building.[/color]"
