I'd like to do an idea inspired by a film I watched. It's mostly mindless fluff/slice-of-life, where our characters go through the daily turbulences of life. Our characters are in their late thirties or early forties - they're in a civil partnership or marriage, and they've been together since they were teenagers. Their son or daughter has become engaged to a very 'unapproving' family, so they try and keep their relationship hidden; not because they're ashamed or because they tolerate hostility, but because it'll make things easier for their child. Obviously, there comes a point where they can no longer pretend and they have to deal with that. 

There won't be much plot beyond the original premise, and I hope it's long-term since a good many of my roleplays have lasted years before. I mean, they've been in a relationship a while so there are lots of ideas we can come up with - work commitments, keeping things interesting between them...ect. The possibilities are endless
