The largest party forms the government and selects a Chancellor as head of the government. The Uchuan People's Party has won a majority in every election since the Republic's inception. Currently the UPP holds 252 of the 350 seats in parliament. National Anthem: Economy: Planned Economy Geography: Demographics
Yali - 47% Zibin - 30% Gharan - 9% Yomkhoi - 7% Others - 7% The Republic of Uchu encompasses a number of ethnicities native to different regions. The most numerous and wealthy are the Yali peoples that have historically inhabited the southern lowlands and valleys. As Uchu's most developed region, the Yali people have had the easiest access to education and resources. Politics, academics and many cultural occupations are dominated by people of Yali descent. The second largest ethnic group are the Zibin people who are native to the western regions and live in the more mountainous interior of the country. While this had been a prosperous area in the past, it was lagging behind due to internal conflicts in the years before the Republic. The north and the east are sparsely populated regions home to the Gharan and Yomkhoi people. These peoples have a long nomadic tradition but in recent years a significant number have been forced convinced or otherwise made to settle down. As a result of the UPP's Resettlement Programme, part of the Great Revitalisation of the North and East, many Yali and Zibin people have been moved to these distant parts of the country to build and work on Farming Cooperatives. Impoverished Gharan and Yomkhoi citizens often head to the south or west to find employment in the major cities. After the UPP initiated its National Revival of Cultural Appreciation, Yomkhoi and Gharan art exhibits and restaurants have become popular in the cities. The people, however, are still seen as inferior to the educated Zibin and Yali.
Religions: TBD Notable Locations
Igoyuru – Capital Khaurikal – City with the largest port Yariyan Dhangabad Mikurabad Yiskand Baykhuk Lhaotham Nam Thum
Regime Personalities and Factions
Kalati Jamina Maradari Rasmi Upane - Special Commissioner to the COMINTERN, Delegate to the World Conclave Gauraban Subed - Director of the Kalati Alaya Azar Duhalawaz - Director of the Rayi Sural Dapat Saili Kurku - Minister of Culture Mainem Bhandan - Minister of Defence
Institutions and Organisations
Uchuan People's Party (UPP):
The ruling political party since the first national elections in 1920.
