[/quote] My brother was put into foster care and sent to juvee as a kid, and that was just for burglaries and a few car thefts. So I have to agree with Alex there, if he really does have that violent of a past I don't see him spending much time outside of institutions, unless the U.S is vastly different from England in terms of that stuff. From what I've read though I always thought the U.S was far more punishing when it came to youth offenders. Of course there'd definitely be exceptions, I imagine quite a few kids like Larry fall through the cracks until they do something serious enough to get them sent to actual prison. It just seems like Larry would have already done that thing. xD
