With a slight nod Seishu settles against his lover once more, shifting slightly when he moves up a bit against the headboard. His body throbs, his brain growing fuzzy with the pain, but he can feel his control staying firmly in place as long as he holds his tongue. 'If I can just keep from talking until I get the drugs in my system, I should be fine. . .' He smiles, sighing happily as his eyes slide closed. The feeling of fingers in his hair is very relaxing, making him feel a different kind of fuzzy. He can feel his inner voices raging against being pampered, but as he feels the foxy doctor approaching he decides to just ignore them, letting himself sink into the bliss of caring just a little bit longer. A light growl escapes him as the doctor comes right on in after barely a moment's hesitation and it's clear the doctor heard the sound when he gives Seishu a stern look. “None of the now Night.” he murmurs, shifting the Nightmare Guardian down a bit so he's settled in the right position for an exam. Seishu's head begins to throb more and he growls again, this time out of pure anger. Forcing his fangs down on his tongue keeps it still, but he silently begs Crios to hurry up, for his tongue's sake if nothing else. Crios can easily sense the discomfort, the glare in Seishu's eyes not lost on him, and without much pretense he injects the guardian with the painkiller, watching as he visibly relaxes under it's powerful influence. Seishu gives him a grateful smile, watching through half lidded eyes as the foxy doctor turns his attention on to Inui. 'He's a good man. He takes good care of everyone. . .I hope he's not holding Enasi's actions against him. . .He was. . .Upset. . .Everyone does silly things when upset. . . .' Sighing, Seishu settles back against his lover, his lids falling even further. With the pain dulled, he's feeling a bit drowsy once more. Inui notices the sleepiness, but still wants some kind of answers about what happened. He carefully moves in close to his guardian after he's been checked out and settles as near as he can to the man before asking softly, “What happened Master Seishu?” Despite the drowsiness, the sound of his underling calling for answers from him is enough to rouse the sleepy guardian. He looks down into those lovely rubies shining out from beneath ebony bangs and he smiles softly. “Well, like in my realm, there are certain beings who don't like what they see happening and seek to change it.” Inui's eyes widen and he scoots in a little closer, half laying on Seishu. The painkillers do a marvelous job of keeping the pain away and the white haired guardian is able to stay put without flinching, leaning back against his lover as one hand comes to settle on the little one's back. “Someone here thought, that if I was gone, that Enasi would “go back to normal”. See, they saw us becoming closer as a bad thing, because their hate of us and our realm was, and still is, very, very strong.” Inui nods, understanding the words, but not really getting that level of hate. He recalls all the eyes that used to give him funny looks and would turn away when he was around and feels the urge to cuddle closer to his guardian. He doesn't even notice as Rasha and Rue flutter in through the window and take a seat on the sill to listen. Rasha purrs ever so softly as Rue pets him, both sets of eyes locked on the wounded guardian. As Crios listens, resting against the wall and crossing his arms over his chest, he feels a touch of gratitude that Seishu isn't just running the dreams and dream minions into the ground right out the gate, as he has every right to do given what they did. He feels truly grateful to the man, and has even more hope for the combining of their two realms. Up upon the roof a certain long eared someone sits listening as well. Having seen the little fairy winged boy drifting towards his lord's room with the troublemaker he thought he may as well come check out what's up with the two guardians, stopping when he heard Seishu speaking softly to his underling. He too is glad of Seishu's thoughtfulness and smiles as he stares off into the sky. 'Bless you Night, for keeping your hope. . .' “You see, change is very hard for some people, and when that change goes against everything they've come to believe, it's that much harder.” Seishu goes on, feeling the press of positive around him but ignoring it in order to remain focused on his lovely, pale little Inui. “These dream denizens think all the changes that Enasi has been going through were bad. And you all as well.” His eyes sweep over the others in the room before falling back on Inui. He feels the siblings settle outside the door to listen and he can't help but smile a little wider. “So, when I foolishly went tottering off on my own, they took the opportunity to remove me, like one would remove a disease from an otherwise healthy body in hopes that the damaged parts would recover.” Inui looks at his master with shock, trying to understand how someone could see the man like that. Seishu smiles a little wider, touching the smaller male's hair gently. “They thought, with me gone, everything would return to the way it was, and they could have their “pure” realm and lord back.” he lets out a soft sigh. “They don't understand that they more hate they have, the more they think of the realms as separate and and try to push them further apart, the more damage they are doing to both sides.” Inui shakes his head, burying his face against Seishu's chest for a moment before looking back up at his guardian. “Why didn't anybody tell them? Why doesn't anybody tell us?” His question is quite, simple, and honestly a good one, but the only answer Seishu can give, is an incomplete one. “Because, that's how things have always been. The guardians know, but their underlings don't. I suppose it has a lot to do with the two of us not wanting to burden you all with the weight of it all. With the knowledge that the balance is so fragile a thing, and risking you all becoming too scared to act, or to zealous in your action. The balance is for guardians to know, and only we can truly understand it, can feel it, so I guess, it has always felt our duty alone to bear the knowledge quietly and simply do our best to maintain it. . .” Those listening remain quite, not sure what to say, and after a few beats, Seishu goes on. “So, anyways, I was taken away to the human realm, cloaked, and then the underlings tried to weaken me so that they would be able to remove me completely.” Inui looks up in shock, the fear inside him growing, threatening to take him over. He's had no practice keeping the bad feelings inside him down, at least not the intense once, so Seishu takes a moment to wrap it up with his energy before going on. “They weren't very good though. I've had worse beatings inside nightmares.” He gives the young minion a brave smile, making him smile back. With a gentle sigh, Seishu goes on. “Anyways, they tried to weaken me, but the search party found me before they could follow through with their plan, and then I was brought back here.” He leaves out Enasi's little episode, wanting to talk to his lover about it personally before anyone else tries to help. He may not be a dream denizen, but he feels he understand what happened to Enasi better than anyone else. He knows very well what it feels like to want to smite his underlings. Inui nods, accepting the summary of the end and lays his head on his master's chest. “What happened to the ones who took you?” He asks, his eyes glowing slightly, clearly wanting to lay down some of his own justice on them.
