Be aware that the Emperor is able to:

 - instantly erase all souls on a planet from existence
 - annihilate entire solar systems through telekinesis
 - telepathically guide an entire galaxy (while in a coma, and fighting off the Chaos Gods)
 - force entire armies of supersoldiers, including psykers who could level cities, to kneel to him merely by telling them to
 - stop time completely in a planet-sized area
 - grant complete immortality, at will, as a minor ability
 - recreate a being's genetic makeup on a cellular level with a thought and a glance
 - see the future, alter the future, and warp probability on a planetary scale with galactic range

Having any character in your faction of this power level is frankly ridiculous.
