[Maria von Hohenzollern, formerly Morita, Sachi, also know as the “Hohenzollern Child of the Reeds”, “The Female Knight Commander”, and by her rivals, “The Iron Bell BItch”]

Age: 21 Gender: Female Race: Human Magic: Basic understanding of wind-based magics. Blessings: Blessing of Protection from Arrows: An innate blessing.. Simply put, the ability to track projectiles through either sight or the sound of the shifting of wind. However, abilities which have an area of effect or in the event her senses are obstructed, the ability fails Maria. Blessing of Mental Protection: Rejects any light mental interference and reduced the effects of extremely potent mental-targetting spells. Blessing of Presence Concealment: The ability to conceal one's presence completely as long as one does not currently have an intent to kill. Blessing of Continued Fighting: The ability to fight at top condition regardless of injury, so long as the injury isn’t a sure kill attack. However, unchecked injuries can eventually become fatal if given enough time, but even that time is extended. Personality Maria is a knight, through and through. Someone who would protect any and all in need of her assistance, even going as much as to put her life on the line given the circumstance to do so, so long as she believes the cause she is fighting for to be “just”. At glance, Maria seems rather friendly as the Commander of the Iron Bell Knights, but despite this, Maria tends to carry herself with a degree of sarcasm and tends to anger a bit easy given provocation, which has often gotten her into disputes and a reputation as somewhat of a "bitch" within the knightly circles. Maria tends to act fierce within the confines of a battle. She isn't the sort of person to rush foolhardy into things if given the ability to take battles more methodically. She will mercilessly kill an enemy on the battlefield, but will never dishonor them. However, at the core of her being, she believes in justice and will try to protect those he can, regardless of the disposition she would be placed within in order to do so. Although a knight, Maria cannot say that her fighting style or outlook on battle is very “knightly”. Known for her more bold and brash styles of fighting which usually places the opponent at a disadvantage while trying to finish them off in a single, well-timed strike was seen as rather cowardly for any knight. However, it was a style she had developed to fight against those who were stronger than her. Sometimes Maria dreams of another world where the buildings are each taller than the castle and the people ride in mechanical or magical carriages, but simply believes these to be the idealistic dreamings of a young girl, as her father delicately puts it. But there is something, at conception, that feels “real” about it. Background Though originally a member of the regular world, the disappearance of the infant merely moments after birth Morita Sachi was never explained, and after many cold leads the police eventually gave up on the pursuit, much to the dismay of the Morita family. Little Sachi would never be seen by her family again. Or at the very least, she would not be seen by the Morita family. During a hunting trip, Gregorius von Hohenzollern had seen a infant girl in the woods. Though a normal individual would most likely have returned the child to an orphanage, his wife, Victoria von Hohenzollern, was unable to bare him a child, and thus Georgius decided to adopt the child as his own. Though not by blood a Hohenzollern, Maria was still treated with the same respect as any potential heir would receive within the household, though other branches of the family did not enjoy the fact that the house was basically “given” to an outsider, and constantly picked on Maria, and children tend to be cruel. Trained to be a knight from a young age, as most Hohenzollerns are given, besides the frail, Maria showed great promise with the combination of her blessings, natural cunning, and the swordsmanship passed down from her father. Eventually, with recommendation from her father and her natural skill at the blade, Maria was given the opportunity to join the Knights of the Iron Bell as their commander, a position held by a female knight commander since the creation of its branch.
