[@KoL], I cannot thank you enough for answering those questions while I was sleeping. All of your answers were 100% correct, but to add on a bit, [@Kobayashi], you can design a mech, so long as you give it some history and it doesn't surpass the Garm, as KoL said.

As for your own questions [@Smiter19], CAU's are indeed piloted from the chest, with the head being used for cameras, radar, sensors, etc. For inspiration, this draws a lot from Ace Combat and the original idea I had months ago was in fact Ace Combat with mecha, but I steadily added more influences, with a big one being the Muv-Luv Alternative universe, what with the aliens and all.

As a side note, before the IC starts, I'll definitely write a section in the OP on how mecha are piloted. Believe it or not, KoL, I actually did not intentionally have 0 and Garm be together, I only noticed after writing it. Still, it inspired me to put a fair few more AC references in here. ;3
