Listening to Gol's more specific explanation didn't completely help, but at the very least he appreciated it was fixable. Glancing over to Matt as he questioned the source of the part, Luke gave a sheepish shrug of his shoulders. "Won it from a shift Sullustan in Pazaak." He let a moment pass for how terrible the explanation was to sink in, before justifying himself somewhat. "At the time saving the credits seemed like a good idea. - y'ain't goin' to shoot him." Taking a step aside, Luke watched as Gol sprinted out of the Engine room and down the ramp, he might've barked a bit about her 'breaking' the hyperdrive, but he couldn't be mad at the girl for her commitment to fixing it. Turning back to Stehrr as he spoke up again, Luke chuckled and nodded, reaching up to give the Wookiee an affectionate pat on the chest of sorts. "Not a bad plan, buddy." Sighing again, he took a step back out of the engine room and down the hall toward the main hold, looking over those present."Still the captain, and always gonna be while this ship's in one piece, Senator." He smirked, walking in just in time to hear her comment, moving over to her and Sutton as Kayala moved off. "Gol is off gettin' a part that won't blow up the hyperdrive, then we can start gettin' underway - so no time for you to go explore, sorry Sutton." He shrugged his shoulders and gave a somewhat sympathetic expression, but the smug grin on his face betrayed the more sarcastic hint to his actions as he watched her. He appreciated that it wasn't too long before Gol was back aboard, the settlement wasn't too far and he assumed it hadn't taken her long to get the part itself. He made a note to reimburse her for the credits she spent, she might have blamed herself for the break, but he'd gotten the faulty part in the first place. For now, he was just pleased to hear the hum of the engine. "Definition: Faulty - not working; having defects; broken; defective; inoperative; useless." Sarcasm was teeming from the droid as he watched the group, listening as Gol spoke up and continued to explain herself. The presence of the Wookiee only did more to irritate the droid, as HK held no love for the alien's tendency to hug him, and despite never experiencing it - he had a habit of complaining about the smell. "Suggestion: Alternatively master, I could accompany you next time - I could produce far more efficient forms of intimidation and slaughter than the Wookiee." He insisted in response to Stehrr's insistence that he accompany Luke the next time he went gambling. HK didn't much care for the result of the gambling itself, or ensuring his Master got a good deal, he was instead more interested in the possibility of getting to shoot something.

Kordath Targon

Location:Command Post -> The Vindicator
Maintaining his ever-so-pleasing smile as he watched the Commodore, Kordath shadowed the woman out to her shuttle, taking relative care to maintain a position half a step behind her, not walking alongside her as he climbed aboard the vehicle, taking a seat across from her gently as it began to rock slightly before taking off toward the Star Destroyer which sat clear in orbit. As she began to speak, Kordath kept his gaze on her intently, the polite smile never once leaving his face as she spoke. "Oh, Commodore, I wouldn't dream of going without your word, whatever information the rebel scum might have can wait, it helps the interrogation if they've been starved and exhausted a bit first." He chuckled as if it had been a rather amusing joke. It was fairly obvious how Kordath felt in regards to members of the New Republic. He, as many others who'd been smothered in Imperial Propaganda since birth, saw them as nothing but terrorists, and had no issue dealing with them in even a somewhat inhumane manner. That was just his style, after all. As the shuttle docked, Kordath rose from his seat and followed Jesmand out onto the ship, adjusting his uniform once more as he clasped his hands neatly behind his back, glancing to the wounded man as he began to speak up regarding Jaina. "Ah, isn't she an angel?" He commented with a chuckle, following Jaina along as her shadow of sorts for the time being until he was shooed off or something more pressing came to mind, maintaining his eerily cheerful smile as Shira approached and spoke to the Commodore.
