This is a wonderful place for a picture! Can you stand over here?" With the luck and skill to learn new and old ones at an impeccable rate before winning them shortly after. He only needs to practice a single round of a game and explanation before learning what it would take someone to amass over years of playing.
Personality
Jacob is easily known as a lazy person with little ambition besides lying around and doing nothing from most people perspective. Past his door which has garnered dust from disuse, he isn't as shut in as everyone thought he was. Of course, he talks to people and friends over the internet, some who he has even met before on his trips to other countries with his hard earned money. Being even talkative to a point that shows his dark and twisted kind of humor which he normally doesn't show to family. As seemingly knows everyone from his enclosed space in his room despite never leaving it and they knowing him as well. However, living at home would be nice to just be leeching money from his family but that would be stupid for him long-term anyway. Having his hobby in art and writing, he uses both of them to generate a cash income along with various projects that he takes on as a freelancer.
Background
Jacob is easily a forgettable person if he makes himself be one, having little prominence in other people lives besides being an acquaintance to most of them. Going to school and passing with relatively average grades got him into a school that focused on science, getting his bachelor's in it. Invested in a few clubs that were nerdy like the Chess club or some ominous one like the nonexistent Poker Club in school. He never honestly used the degree at all, deciding to go into freelancing as he took advantage of his artistic and computer skills to perform various jobs for people. Whether it be an art piece for something they need or being a designer for a website. He was never out of work, but he always had control over when and where he wanted to start and stop working which allowed him his flexible schedule. Earning a decent amount of money than what he would get from an ordinary job or even one that he got for his degree, he was living quite comfortably. Outside of his simple work, he went to a few tournaments for video games which never worked out to well but his group always got far enough to be in the top 10s. Nothing too impressive but it was something fun to be in despite not winning and bond over some wins and losses, with the goal of improving next year. Video Game tournaments weren't the only thing that he went to, as he frequents chess tournaments which he discovered to be quite good in it. Being well enough to be considered well above the general public, but he still out outclassed by those who were simply better or dedicated themselves to the game. Either way, it was flavors into his mouth that he tasted to give more color and depth to his world which was entertaining. He considered even moving out soon so that they could use his room, which considering was mostly bare besides his extensive computer station and a few necessities like the bed. Talking to a few on his friends on the interweb, he was given an offer to stay over in the Americas which was possible due to having a dual citizenship and could easily live there as some work he got came from overseas. It would only be after a few months of projects, some donations from people online that liked his more 'raunchy' pieces of work and frugal living on noodles, he would be moving out to America! A taste of more things to experience in life, perhaps he should move again once more to travel the world after he saved up some money again... His disappearance, however, was quite untimely as he was on a plane going to Ohio in the United States once again, slipping under his family noses that their son's bedroom was empty once more. They wouldn't suspect that their son would have enough money to pay for an expensive flight across the ocean, but then again, how did he pay for rent and some of the bills by just staying in his room...? He did leave a note with some money paying for the bills that would be the last he would pay for them. Promising to visit soon, he just didn't expect to be dragged into another world... Hopefully, they don't freak out about the missing seat on the plane. Likes Doodling is fun, he just doesn't draw Building a website with secret tabs and whatnot is entertaining Playing games is always a great way to pass the time or win something Reading is always a past time to enjoy Sometimes a day or two in bed is what you need Netflix is love, Netflix is life Dislikes Dramas have to more going on, exception for the Spanish ones.... Don't ask Working always something dreaded to do, but in order to live, one must work He was never good at sports, but Esports is a different topic Cliches are annoying to watch, notice and see in anything
Theme
Might add latter
Here's a second character cause, we need more humans :P
