“Sure. Take as much as you need.” Gillian says, noting the shaking. For a brief moment, his arm feels like it was being trampled by a boar….again. He rubs it as Ian makes his suggestion. It wasnt a terrible plan, were he honest, but it was short sighted. Christina was largely immobile, it seemed, while protecting the princess. And if an assassin had managed to slip through the entire royal guard, he'd want as many eyes on the prime target as possible. “I Uh…never was much one for fired up vengeance seeking my friend.” He says, gently stretching. He watches as Marianne begins her explosion, making note not to make an enemy of her anytime soon. The woman’s vocabulary of vulgar phrases was as expansive as she was dangerous. “And at any rate…” he begins, astounded as the dark haired woman rapid fired curses. “Dear lord…” He whispers, understanding maybe a third of them. “At any rate, there seems to be enough stoked flames without me adding to it. Moreover, we’re looking for an assassin in a city. I’m more of a ‘band of orcs in dense forest’ sort of hunter.” He nods towards Christina, “And with Chris providing the barrier for her highness, there would really only be one free guard. I appreciate your offer, but I think it best we stick together.”
