Tsura didn't mimic her parent's powers but is instead a Quantum level Elemental who can manifest herself as living light basically passing through anywhere that light can penetrate, focus that light into lasers or fly at the speed of light.
Of course she can't do all this yet but then that's why she's at the Academy
