As soon as Lucidian starts to move Jacob is on guard, his fists that were half clenched now form fists and come up in front of his chest. His feet spreading slightly as he adopts a classic fighting stance. Ready and more than willing to fight, but it is not yet necessary as he just snatches the Jennifer away. His face however is still set into a grim line it is clear if he goes to hurt the girl again there will be no idly standing by any longer.

His voice is rather impassive when he speaks even if it is laced with hints of anger at the situation he has seen. And then Lucidian decides he just has to speak up. Jacob slowly eases out of his stance even though his body is obviously still tightly coiled and ready for combat. He smirks as he looks down at the angel lying on the ground below him, one of his canines hooking over his lip before he speaks.

I don't think you want to start this fight with me. As much as i would love to beat the face in of someone seems to enjoy hurting girls."[/color]

He waits for a moment to see if the boy will react violently before he turns to Jennifer, his hands slowly unclenching until they hang normally by his sides. He really would not prefer to fight now, he is almost one hundred percent sure he would win. But he is acutely aware of the concealed weapons he is carrying that he would like to stay concealed. And fights if there are anything are messy, and there is no telling what might happen. He makes a visible effort to calm himself, one of his hands running through his hair causing it to become even messier than it already was. He turns his startlingly blue eyes to Jennifer again.
