"Actually, he is The One," Trinity corrected the woman, then asked again if there were anymore questions. Dallen gave off a nod as if to say, 'that's right'. Yet, before they could get anymore information out of the space hologram, it was gone. Just as quickly, the horrible screaming sounds came back and filled the area. Holes shot out sparks from all around as one by one, undead aliens started pouring into the massively round room. They moved like monkeys, using all four of their limbs to quickly crawl and climb into the open. "Run!" Dallen yelled, charging up his laser rifle and moving behind her down the walkway. They had a great amount of time before the aliens at ground level would reach them, but the ones coming from the ceiling and walls were already jumping onto the fragile walk platform. At a closer distance, Dallen could now see their facial features. It was clear that hey hadn't always looked like this, with their entire mouth area bloodied and wide, filled with sharp teeth. Dallen fired the first shot, one that jolted him slightly backward in the process. A large green pulse fired out of his rifle, it struck the closest alien in the chest, quickly after engulfing the entire creature in an acid like substance, melting it completely and within seconds. "Whoa!" he said to himself, briefly pausing to take in the moment. He had never fired this particular alien rifle yet, and couldn't help but to smirk from its power and accuracy. As more aliens clinged onto the walkway and started after them, he continued after the girl. They reached the end of the path, which led to a large, locked, metal door. After a few failed attempts at opening it, Dallen turned and aimed his weapon at it, motioning for the girl to move away. Suddenly Trinity loaded back up in a smaller formed hologram of herself, appearing at the doors monitor. "That action is ill advised," Trinity spoke. "Yeah, why's that?" Dallen asked. "On the other side lies the flight deck," she said. "The pulse cannon you are equipped with travels at a velocity of..." "Shut the hell up Trinity!" Dallen fired through her hologram and into the door, creating a large hole in the center. The hole blasted completely through the metal, leaving a perfect circle outlined into the next room. The beam continued past the door and directly into the next, where it went through the glass at the front of the spaceship. Immediately, dark water began pouring into the cockpit in large surges. Warning lights that weren't previously on now came on. "This vessel is submerged under a sea," Trinity added. A look of horror struck Dallen's face as he dropped the large weapon he had just fired and grabbed the woman he was with, pulling her immediately away from both the cockpit and the walkway they were just running across. He yanked her over the edge, where they both fell toward the bottom, though Dallen held a good grip on the woman. Before they hit the ground, his jetpack turned on, pausing them in mid air. The undead aliens all got washed away in the unrelenting water as it quickly began to fill up the large room. Dallen hovered through the air, still holding the woman close, and this time went toward another side door, which currently was his only valid option. Firing his laser from the wrist of his armor, he struck the command panel that was directly next to it, causing the doors to open. The two cruised into the hallway, running as soon as their heels struck the ground. "Trinity, how do we get out of this alive?" Dallen asked, as he continuously ran through the ship, unaware of where he was heading. "Escape pods can bring you two safely to the sea's surface," Trinity answered, her hologram now appearing at every monitor they ran past. A map hologram appeared again on both of their suits, highlighting in orange the correct way. Every door that they came across now opened just before they reached them. "It is recommended you both pause for breath." Dallen ignored her request, going through the last set of metal doors and entering an escape pod with the other. The pod was a small circular area, with barely enough space for the two of them in armor. Trinity set everything up seemingly, and then they were ready. "Thank you, Trinity," Dallen said, but to no reply. The pod shot out from the vessel, moving them through the underwater at a great speed. The pressure inside as they moved through the sea felt like it was trying to break him down, but the armor fought it back. Within a few moments, the pod reached the surface and the top of it blew off. The bright light from a sun shined into the pod, blinding the pair for a few seconds. Dallen climbed out, removing his helmet and taking in the fresh air. They were in the middle of an ocean, but land could be clearly seen nearby. Something was different about it, though, about the way the mountains looked in the distance, about the color of everything. The grasses appeared to be purple, with massive trees in all different sizes and colors. The mountains looked like they were sculpted by gods, each having unique details about it. In the sky, there were two suns shining down. The air felt as they would have expected, with oxygen just like earth, but the color was pinkish orange rather than blue. "Well Todo, we're not in Kansas anymore," Dallen said, a line that just naturally came to him, though he couldn't even remember the source material itself.
