It had been a long morning, and there was definitely more food than would be eaten for this festival in her near-sister's tavern. But there always was that chance that this one would get more business than usual. She hoped so, but at the same time, that was less food for her. After leaving the kitchen, she waded through the crowd that had already gathered, and couldn't help but share their mirth as she neared the exit. She could already hear the celebration, even over the crowd of -- were they drunk? -- patrons. And why shouldn't they be? With her Goddess around, they wouldn't have to worry about stumbling into their own vomit. All she really wanted to see outside was the release of the swallowtail butterflies, and she hoped she hadn't missed it already. She finally waded through the crowd and left the tavern, but it simply meant she was in an equally packed street. It didn't bother her at all, though. More people in the street probably meant more people following Desna, a perfectly acceptable situation. She didn't particularly like that she couldn't see over people, and didn't have anyone who would carry her on their shoulders anymore...unless her family was stopping by again. They might. This was probably the best time if they wanted to get money and attention. The best place to find them would be the town square if that was the case, and that's where Yobi headed. But before she got too far, she heard a woman speaking to another person in front of her: "Excuse me, are you from here?" A visitor. A traveler! How appropriate! Choosing instead of her previous plans to follow this woman, she stood just far enough away that people would walk between her and the woman. She tried to justify it in her head as protecting the locally-naïve, but it was really just because she was bored and wanted someone to play with.
