Rai rushed through the hallway whilst dodging obviously scared students, he rushed around the corner and arrived at his locker. Whether it was because of the blaring alarms or his own excitement he fumbled around with his lock briefly before eventually getting it open. Rai reached inside and retrieved a wooden baseball bat that he'd found outside the school a few days ago, it was a little beat up and didn't look like it was in very good shape [i]"It's better than having nothing..."[/i] Rai thought to himself before closing the locker.

Now that he was armed Rai set off down the hallway, checking the classrooms for any trace of the escaped vampire as he went. Rai would not let this opportunity to prove Guren wrong pass him by, thus he made certain to keep his eyes and ears open despite the wailing of the alarm.
