Helena stopped eating for a moment, "Wait...why are we being Interrogated? Is there Truth Grass in my Steak?" Helena was a bit Nervous, she didn't know this lot and her conditioning among the Courts had always warned her to be wary of endangering oneself, however she hid it well behind a visage of perplexing nature. Maria just chuckled, "Nothing so Crude my Dear. Just Simple Marinades and Seasonings, We merely just want to get to know you a bit better. After all it's not to often we receive so Many Offworlders at Once." Maria Said as she handed Tea Cups to Cassius, "Thank you very Kindly, Cas." She says with a faint glimmer of a smile barely visible behind her Lace. "But no, we don't expect you to tell us anything if you don't want to but my Grandmother always taught me the best way to get to know someone is to be polite and treat them as you would want to be treated." Despite her Kindness there was a very Eerie Presence about that made it seem like a relic from a bygone Era. "Oh Cassius, before I forget. Today seems like it will be Fortuitous, The Spirits rather seem Anxious so I choose to take that as a Good Omen." Maria said as she at last poured herself a Cup of the Tea, mixing it to her liking. "Besides, if we were going to try anything we'd slip it in the tea instead of the Steaks. Liquid transfers better." She said as she took a sip of the Tea to prove it was fine, "I love Jasmine Rose Tea." Helena was unsure of what to think of this Maria, she seemed very detached and there was something that seemed off, "Alright then Maria, if you don't mind me asking....Why do you wear the Veils? I mean I can understand a basic face one but that is quite a lot of veil. Not to be rude or anything, I was just curious." Maria Chuckled, "It's because the Sunlight is a bit...unpleasant for me and my family, just a hereditary thing." She said as if it was nothing.
