If someone told her there was a dragon, she'd go find it. She lived life to her fullest capacity, but sometimes went over-board. She needed her twin to pull her back and think, something she sometimes forgot to do. Ivana is cunning, and will try to find her way around anything that doesn't suit her fancy. Ambition is her drive, but will often procrastinate. She loves helping people, but will only help less fortunate like a modern-day Robin Hood. She is level-headed, but has a snappy retort if someone annoys her. After Ellen's death, she has become colder and more bitter side, especially after her twin dies. Her extent of honesty has declined and her extrovert personality has withered. She used to be more out-going and friendly; now, she withdraws from others. Furthermore, Ivana has developed a sarcastic attitude and is extremely vigilant when she used to be carefree. While Ivana would like to help others, she no longer finds motivation or any point in it. Her sister, Ellen, was only a few minutes older than she. They grew up in lower-middle class family in the suburbs of New York. As a child, Ivana and Ellen were inseparable: they did everything together. Since they were identical, the two would pretend to be the other only to to their parent's exasperation. Despite their antics, their parents loved them both and raised them to the best of their ability. Though they had low-money, they tried to make sure their kids were happy and had what they needed Luckily, the two were, for the most part, satisfied with having each other. As kids, Ivana would egg her sister on to being adventurous, and Ellen would keep her sister from doing reckless activities. Once Ivana had tried to cliff dive at 13 and Ellen had forcibly stopped her from doing so. They got into a fight but ended up making up a week later. - At age 16, they both had a wide circle of friends. While Ivana was more gregarious than Ellen, her twin was more charming. The two made up for the other person's flaw which helped them socially. On a hot summer day the twins were at the beach. While Ivana repressed the memories and blocked it out, one thing stood out: Ellen had drowned. At first, Ivana didn't believe it; she expected her twin to pop out and surprise her like she used to as a kid. Ivana fell into a deep depression. She became disconnected with reality. Her grades slipped, she lost her scholarship, and her friends. She had stopped talking to people and wouldn't get out of bed. Instead of sleeping a normal 8-hour schedule, Ivana developed hypersomnia and would sleep at least twelve hours per-day. No matter how hard her parents tried waking her, she slept.Doctors figured she would heal and move on but she never did. Finally after a year, her parents took her to see a therapist who diagnosed her with bereavement disorder. They gave her medication and tried therapy for six months. - Since she couldn't save her twin, Ivana sought for a means of control in her life and turned to her diet. She controlled how much she ate and began dropping well bellow 500 calories per-day and purging out of guilt when she ate more. Ivana also worked out excessively and would workout in gyms until her parents forced her to come home. She joined cross country in the fall and ran every day; in winter, she joined swimming. The following spring she conditioned for track and field. - During the summer before her junior year, she continued running and controlling her diet. Concerned, she was checked for eating disorders and was was diagnosed with anorexia and bulimia. She fainted multiple times during training and was found by her friend's (she never ran alone) and taken back home. Her parents had enough and knew she needed more intense therapy and help so they sent her Treewit psychiatric hospital. She is not happy about it either and tried running away but didn't get far due to her lethargy. They are also two traits that don't seem to have an off-button on her either. She appears well-behaved and polite; only because she knows when to act that way. She'll sooner cut your hand off than be your true friend. She is sneaky and cunning and often does gets away with behavior - well, used to, until she's at the ward. Josie is relentless once she has a goal in mind. She will not quit either. Josephine, all of 5'2, will tear an entire building down once her temper explodes. Her impulsivity can lead her to becoming violent and needing to be restrained. While Josie presumably appears tough-skinned, she is sensitive deep-down. After having an anger meltdown, she'll either become emotional and cry; or she'll become impassive and distant. It makes her unpredictable. She is not someone to go to for comfort or show vulnerability around: she'll pretend to be your friend then chew you up and spit you out when she's done with you. J.C has an immaculate amount of pride and will not let it get pushed around.
STRENGTHS }}

Board games. She enjoys playing "SORRY" and "Monopoly". While Rick tried persuading Maria into having an abortion, her mother refused. Josie was born to two ungrateful parents and was tormented as a baby. How is unspecific: Josie has no memory and her parents never spoke about it. From the time she could walk, Josie was causing trouble. At first, her parents thought it might wear out - after all, she was just a toddler. It didn't stop however and only grew worse as she aged. Josie often subjugated her older brother to threats and tried to fight him even though she was smaller than him. He managed to fend her off and told their parents which had her grounded for a month. - It didn't stop her activities. At six, Josie watched her mother cut up chicken with a knife and mimicked the actions on a stray cat. This time Josie was severely punished and grounded. She was unable to leave the house and was checked on routinely and was not alowed to make friends. Unfortunately, Josie found a way out of the house and had gone to the park down the street. There, Josie played with the other kids and ended up being bullied. In her defense, Josie beat the kids up. Her parents found her and decided to take her to therapy; though they hated her, they couldn't do much else about it legally. They verbally assaulted her and called her inapprorpriate names. - Josephine was taken to a psychologist and given therapy. She could never pay full attention and was always moving around. For this, she was given stimulants which subdued her: but only angered her as she hated sitting still. For a few months, she seemed to behave and her parents thought the problem was fixed. She began stealing non important items and keeping them for her own. She bullied and envied her brother who was treated nicer than she was which only fueled the fire inside of her. When her brother acted out (age 10) and had destroyed household property, their parents blamed Josie. She was furious and lashed out by not only self-harming, but impulsively running away this time for a week. When she was found and taken back to therapy, Josie had anger meltdowns bad enough to have her restrained by doctors. - Throughout all this she had cut school and left classes; she had bullied other kids and was defiant to authority. Her parents were aggravated with her and kept doping her up with ADHD medication. Nobody found it out of ordinary either: after all, she was a problem child. In school, she couldn't pay attention and kept moving around. She hated sitting and doing work. She was bullied because other kids found it funny that she was never still. Josephine lashed out at them and resulted in anger and emotional meltdowns. She was taken to the principal’s often and given detention. - Josephine's 13 birthday could not have gone worse. She had threatened friend to come because her parents had set an ultanium: either make and keep friends and act like a normal human being or leave the house for good. Josie, while she terrorized its occupants, did not want to end up in foster care. Her brother had invited people over as well. His friend, Channing, thought it would be funny to give her a lighter since she always loved the candles on her cake. She had played with it and accidentally (as a result of impulsivity) ended up setting one of the kids' hair on fire. The kid was fine after it and had lost some hair and the family cut them off. Her parents had enough and homeschooled her. It almost suited Josie when she found out she could say home but it was worse. The medication was amplified and it numbed her from moving around, but made her too sluggish to pay attention. When she was fifteen and was not making progress in school (though she had a knack for English and science), her parents sent her to an academy for troubled children. - Josephine only worsened. She made it her kingdom and became a queen bee. She found the other kids' vulnerable and would often make fun of them. After a few weeks, J.C befriended a not-so-nice crowd who found her antics hilarious. Her impulsivity and hormones mixed together badly: she was found having intercourse with other kids and messing around. Teachers and parents had also found alcohol in their system. Josie had found it numbed her racing mind and calmed her down. It made her feel better and she had stopped taking her medication. Her parents had enough and sent her to the psychiatric ward after the incident. She has been there for a month and absolutely hates it.
OTHER }} She hates talking about her feelings and prefers solitude.
