[@Jedly]: Hmm, well, I will say youkai are unlikely to be bothered by a fully mundane gun(it takes a bit, or a very very high-powered weapon).

That being said, you're on the right track as far as having her actually meet some and be aware of their nature. ^^; Though youkai aren't in Russia.
